LG washing machine - new washer with Allergiene cycle

LG USA has just introduced the first ever washing machine proven to reduce certain allergens, such
as house dust mites and domestic animal dander, on fabrics by more than 95 percent. The laundry cycle, called Allergiene, is now featured on the new stainless steel SteamWasher. LG hopes to benefit a large number of US households suffering from allergies and asthma. It is the first washing machine to be certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, an independent non-profit foundation dedicated to helping consumers and patients with asthma and allergic diseases. The LG SteamWasher with Allergiene cycle utilizes LG own TrueSteam Generator for very hot steam in the wash tub. The steam in LG SteamWasher allows the wash to reach the temperature sufficiently high to destroy and wash out allergens - without harming fabrics with extra hot water.

The 4.2 cu. ft. Ultra Capacity SteamWasher comes with 9 advanced washing programs and 3 fabric care features including SteamWash which feeds hot steam particles into the top of the wash drum through a spray nozzle to penetrate the fabrics, removing the most stubborn stains, and dissolving cleaning agents without causing excessive wear and tear on garments. SteamFresh is the 20-minute steam only cycle which uses steam to freshen and reduce wrinkles on clothes, resulting in less ironing and fewer trips to the dry cleaner. This Allergiene cycle washing machine comes wired for LG Remote Monitoring System and is also very quiet due to LoDecibel Quiet Operation feature. 5 wash/rinse temperature levels, 12 washing options including up to 19 hour Delay Wash and numerous functions and convenience features. As great as it sounds, the suggested retail price of $2,700 might give you an allergy on its own. The matching dryer which is loaded with similar high end features is available in gas or electric for the same $2,700 USD. But thankfully, LG made the new Allergiene cycle available on its less expensive machines, which costs as little as $1,400 for the washer, and $1,200 for the matching dryer. LG USA.
