Glass splashback designs from Funky Splashbacks

If you are looking for a glass splashback to enhance your kitchen decor, and bring personality and flair into the home, the bespoke creations of innovative design company, Funky Splashbacks, will do just that. In an age where individuality is hard to come by, each glass splashback is hand painted and crafted to a unique brief, ensuring that every product is an original. Bringing life and creativity into the heart of the home, artist Jo Omar designs and produces each piece individually from her studio in Newbury. Combining colour, texture and pattern, the vivid splashbacks are ideally situated behind a cooker, or placed above a kitchen or bathroom sink.

Each custom made splashback is cut to a bespoke size from 6mm glass. Due to the bespoke nature, the splashbacks can be customised to accommodate sockets. To ensure durability and longevity, glass is toughened and treated before the design is hand painted onto each individual splashback. To complete the process, a backing is applied to seal in the paint before splashback can be attached to a wall.

A great alternative to tiles, each glass splashback is made to measure and tailored to fit. The glass creations are simple to install for any kitchen fitter but a personalised fitting service is also available. All products from Funky Splashbacks are bespoke and as such prices will vary depending on the size and design. The splashback pictured above is called Red Circles and it measures 60cm wide and retails from £500 including VAT.
