Samsung range cooker - new electric ranges

Samsung range cooker, FTQ387 is the new electric range with a large 5.9 ft³ of oven space, that allows you to cook large meals with greater ease. It comes with a beautiful, easy to clean, fast heating 5-burner ceramic cooktop, including a triple burner, a dual burner and a warming center. For incredible performance and cooking convenience, the electric range also includes a fast boil element, which can boil a pot of water 6 minutes faster than traditional 6"/9" burners. The large oven offers some of the high end features normally found in more expensive ranges. This stainless steel Samsung range cooker comes with 8-pass hidden bake element, a 6-pass broil element and 3-fan true convection cooking system, called Surround Airvection, which combines a true convection oven with a multi-fan system to circulate heat evenly throughout the oven. The On/Off fan control maintains the ideal temperature. The oven is also easily cleaned with the help of energy efficient Samsung SteamQuick function. Just pour 10 ounces of tap water into the range oven, close the door and press the button. 20 minutes later, simply wipe the oven clean.

The 600 watt warming drawer with stainless handle has 3 temperature settings to keep meals ready. Other features of these 30" wide electric ranges include Sabbath Mode, glass touch controls, 2-color LED display, multi position chrome oven racks and pyrolytic cleaning. Price for this Samsung electric range cooker is $1,300.

Electric range with side induction hob - new from Everhot

The new Everhot 100i is an electric heat storage range, designed to provide both cooking and room heat. What sets this electric range cooker from other models, e.g Everhot 90 or Everhot 150 is the right hand side induction hob with controls that are neatly hidden behind the top right hand door. You can also get a second lid to cover the induction hob when not in use for £345. This 1000mm wide electric heat storage range simply plugs into a standard plug socket and it requires no flue, extractor or special reinforced base. Designed, engineered and built in Gloucestershire, England, the Everhot 100i is a traditionally styled, environmentally friendly, range cooker.

This classically crafted electric range cooker gives you plenty of cooking flexibility and power with 4 cast iron doors housing 3 ovens - a roasting oven, a casserole oven and a must-have warming oven, The fourth door conceals the digital control system which is used to set individual temperatures for each of the cooking areas. Hot plate with a maximum of 400°C, simmer plate with a maximum of 400°C, top oven with a maximum of 250°C and bottom oven with a maximum of 200°C. Roasting oven comes with a large radiant heat grill, that can be used to rapidly boost oven temperature.

Each oven and heating surface can be independently adjusted to the temperature you require. If a particular cooking area is not needed for long periods, you can switch it off or turn it down without affecting the other areas. The optional induction hob is incredibly efficient and can be switched quickly from boiling temperature to a simmer. And this electric range also has the ECO control to provide enhanced economy and reduced heat output in hot weather. It provides a type of 'sleep' facility, allowing the range cooker to be dropped to a low temperature that can be predetermined.

A chrome, spring-loaded lid covers the cast iron hot and simmer plates. You can also incorporate a commercial quality induction hob to provide flexible, additional capacity throughout the year. The Everhot 100i is available in black, burgundy, cream, blue or green. Price is £6,470.

Large range cookers by Stoves - new Richmond SXS

Proving that large is beautiful, Stoves has added a new large range cooker to its very popular Richmond collection of range cookers. The Richmond SXS is a traditionally designed range cooker with a twist. It has 2 tall ovens offering an enormous combined cooking capacity of 152 litres, making it the most spacious range oven currently available in the UK market. Each of the 2 tall ovens in the 90cm dual fuel cooker has a massive 76 litre capacity. The first is a multi functional oven with fanned grill, intense bake, base heat, top heat and defrost. The second fanned oven also features a fanned grill, and both ovens come complete with 4 shelves which can be arranged in 25 different positions. In addition to the sheer quantity of cooking capacity on offer, the large SXS also boasts a unique, separate, slide out central Thermo Plate System. Cleverly disguised, the tall compartment slides out from the centre of the range cooker if pressed gently, and can hold and warm up to 8 large plates.

The Richmond SXS also features a one piece gas hob with 5 burners including a wok burner and has cast-iron pan supports. The oven is 'AA' rated for energy efficiency, has a fully programmable LED clock, is available in a choice of black and champagne and is coated with Stoves Pristine Enamel, making cleaning much easier. The current heats the pan and cooks the food inside. Less energy is wasted with induction cooking compared to gas or electric, because the technology transfers heat directly to the cookware and the food, rather than heating up the surface area of the cooktop.
