Baby Belling redesigned - new look for UK favourite

Diamond cooker for charity from Stoves
An exclusive diamond-mounted cooker, which has been created by Stoves to celebrate the diamond anniversary of Denman College - the Women’s Institute-owned Residential Adult Education College - is to be raffled online for charity. Following an earlier tie-up between Stoves and the WI, the one-of-a-kind range cooker was specially commissioned by the home appliance brand in association with diamond jewellery specialist Seventy Seven Diamonds, to mark the college diamond anniversary. The proceeds are being donated to Let’s Cook!, a project run by WI volunteers nationally to teach young parents in disadvantaged communities how to cook healthy family meals. The Stoves Richmond cooker has been finished with a specially developed diamond-effect sparkling silver paint, but its centrepiece is a spectacular, certified half-carat diamond worth around £1,400, donated by Seventy Seven Diamonds. In total, the oven is worth well over £4,000. The diamond cooker will be showcased at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham from 26th to 30th November.

Metallo Arts to build Delaubrac based ranges
Metallo Arts wants to engineer and design top notch, traditional French style cooking equipment. The company is currently negotiating with Solymac International, maker of Delaubrac range line to partner in manufacturing Metallo own line of custom ranges. Solymac will be making the chassis and body and, as an added benefit to the partnership, Metallo Arts will be distributing their Delaubrac ranges in the Americas under its new division, Metallo Ranges. Virtually unknown here, Delaubrac ranges are available in four widths and customizable cooktop configurations, and are built to the same exacting quality of engineering and design as better-known brands like La Cornue ranges.
The French style ranges will be a natural progression for Metallo Arts, a young company that has produced some of the most spectacular custom kitchen hoods and makes hoods for Diva de Provence range cookers. More information on Delaubrac ranges.

Electric range cooker - new Countrychef by Belling
Previously available in gas and dual fuel only, the excellent Belling Countrychef ranges will now be joined by a newly launched electric cooker. The Countrychef 100E is launched in response to the growing demand for electric cooking appliances by consumers who are increasingly weary about ever climbing gas bills. Available in silver or anthracite, this traditional electric range cooker boasts a fast-heating five-zone ceramic hotplate and a separate warming zone, perfect for keeping food warm whilst preparing the rest of a meal. With plenty of cooking capacity, the Countrychef features two electric ovens, the 1.8 kW fanned and the 1.9 kW conventional as well as a separate electric grill. Stoves cookers go Back to Black with freestanding electric and gas double ovens
It is official, Black is back. Stoves has responded to consumer demand by relaunching its 61EHDO and 61GDO freestanding electric and gas double ovens in classic black. An alternative to Stoves Flavours Collection, the 61GDO is a sleek and contemporary 600 mm wide gas double oven cooker with 4 burner gas hob. For cooking flexibility, it features 2 separate conventional ovens and a variable grill. Combining ease and convenience, the Back to Black 61GDO has twin side lights in both ovens, an easy to use 3 button programmable LED clock and a glass hotplate with a safety cut off which automatically extinguishes the flame when the lid is placed down. If you prefer electric, the 61EHDO is a 600 mm freestanding electric double oven, which comes complete with conventional top oven and fanned main oven. Combining quality styling with the latest innovations, the 61EHDO hotplate offers a combination of halogen technology that provides the radiant heat of 4 ceramic cooking zones with the extra power of halogen. Other finishing touches of these Back to Black freestanding ovens include a 3-button LED clock and programmer and twin side lights in each oven. The new Electrolux Gusto range cooker offers fantastic cooking flexibility with 3 interchangeable cooktops - a fry top, wok top and griddle top, for creating healthy grilled dishes. Hammered steel and bronze ranges from Fratelli Onofri
The new hammered finish Fratelli Onofri ranges look stunning. I saw them on KBIS 2008 and wanted to get one on the spot, but then realized I had to buy a new house with the kitchen to match, or at the very least, totally and very expensively remodel mine. Besides I couldn't decide on the color, figuring if I should buy both. It was quite frustrating, no? So it is on hold and indefinitely. But jokes aside, they are as sharp looking as high performance and functional. Distributed in the States by EuroChef USA, these ranges are available in Giant Oven and Double Oven ranges from Royal Chiantishire Series. Both ranges have 4 cm high single piece hob made from 304 stainless steel, 5 sealed gas burners with flame failure safety device, including 12,000 BTU Wok triple flame, 10,000 BTU Rapid, two 6,000 BTU Semi-Rapid and 3,500 BTU Auxiliary gas burner. Other key features are underknob one-touch ignition, Old World analogue clock and timer, custom stainless steel handles and legs heavy duty cast iron grates, removable backguard and storage compartment.
The Double Oven range features 2.3 cu. ft. multifunction electric oven with braising grill, top grill, European convection fan, bottom element, light, thermostat, 3 heavy gauge oven racks. The second 1.5 cu. ft. capacity oven has brasing grill, top element, bottom element, thermostat and oven rack. Both ovens have triple-glazed glass doors.
The Giant Oven range offers single oven with 4.4 cu. ft. cooking space, braising grill, top grill, European convection fan, bottom element, light, thermostat, 3 heavy gauge oven racks and triple-glazed glass door.
I don't have price for these hammered steel and bronze Fratelli ranges, but you can bet it will be somewhat higher than traditional stainless steel or plain color models. Both, Giant Oven and Double Oven ranges from Royal Chiantishire Series also come at stainless steel with Chrome trim for $3,150 and $3,700 respectively, as well as in Anthracite with either Brass or Chrome, and Ivory, Blue and Burgundy with Brass trims for $3,650, and $4,200. New induction ranges and color options from Rangemaster

Hybrid range cookers from American Range
American Range took its Saute /Step-Up cooking ranges one step further with introduction of industry first hybrid range cookers in 24", 30" and 36". The hybrid range combines gas and induction cooking technology in a one freestanding range, providing commercial grade firepower, performance and efficiency with ergonomic functionality. Residential step-up ranges were and still are quite an innovative idea, with American Range being the only brand to my best recollection. Given the popularity of hybrid cooktops, these hybrid range cookers can be a big hit. We are not quite sure on the 24" and 30" hybrid models, but the 36" range comes with 3.4 kW, 2.8 kW and 1.8 kW front induction burners, capable to accommodate 16" diameter saute pans or stock pots.
