Zephyr Arc – new sleek, powerful range hoods

[KBIS 2008 Review]
Designed by renowned industrial designer Robert Brunner, the new Zephyr Arc Collection offers many customization options, dramatic high-tech styling and excellent performance. The elegantly minimalist range hood collection consists of 10 models, and promises to deliver the latest in compact power with the proprietary Clean Air feature, designed to help eliminate stale air and odors. According to Zephyr, when the feature is enabled, the hood will turn itself to the first speed every 4 hours for 10 minutes, up to 6 times a day. In a 12′ x 12′ x 8′ kitchen, Clean Air can potentially completely re-circulate the air more than 10 times. On its first speed, this feature will move 12,000 cu. ft. of air in the kitchen daily.

Layers

Layers showcases floating design that highlights its use of glass by presenting a very thin profile within the kitchen. Available in both wall and island versions, Layers presents a beautiful, artistic rendition of the modern kitchen range hood.

Plane

Plane has a geometrically strong form that creates an angular sculpture, dramatically growing from the wall. Hidden halogen lighting incorporated by Zephyr is unique in the industry.
