The new Sorrento is stainless steel, 500 CFM Zephyr downdraft vent hood, available in 30" and 36" widths. This downdraft chimney raises 9.5" when activated, ideal for tall pots and large pans. The vent hood is also well suited for small kitchens or for island settings where ceilings are too high for ducting. The brushed stainless steel housing holds dynamically-balanced centrifugal blower wheel providing very quiet and efficient performance. Simply press the button to turn the downdraft vent hood on and adjust extraction level by flush mounted, infinite control knob. In case of excessive heat, an automatic heat sensor adjusts blower speed to High. When done, just press the button to lower downdraft vent and turn it off.
