BEST S.p.A. European hoods at KBIS

[KBIS 2010 Review]
BEST showed eight hoods from its European Platinum Collection including Gloss, Double Vertigo, Lift, Lipstick, Secret, Surf, Dune and Chorus. The cutting edge designs are being shown for the first time simultaneously to the U.S. and the European markets. In the U.S., KBIS is the venue and in Europe, it's Eurocucina 2010, being held in Milan from April 14-19. The idea is to gauge the pulse of the American design community with these innovative range hoods and depending upon the response, plan to bring these range hoods to market in the U.S.

New for 2010, these Elica hoods offer advanced features, quiet performance and aesthetics. Depending on the hood, features and functionality include perimeter aspiration, LED lights, IntensiTime system, filter change indicator, remote control, ambient lights and maximum extraction rate up to 800 m³/h. 120cm range hood with remote motor by ATAG

ATAG has added several new models to its range whose impressive specification match their sophisticated and futuristic appearance. ATAG new 120cm stainless steel range hood is available in the WS1211MX wall mounted and in the ES1211MX island ceiling mounted models. Both offer the choice of an external or attic-style remote motor. Ducted models with external motors will always give superior extraction, and the extraction rates on these excellent hoods are among the most powerful, efficient and quiet on the market - with maximum capacity of up to 1,060 m³/h depending on motor. The 120cm range hood also comes with Clean Air setting that automatically runs for 10 minutes each hour to vent the kitchen. Operates for up to 12 hours or until an additional hood function is selected.

The 90cm wide kitchen ventilation hood, Clatronic DU 617 G comes with glass screen, 3-speed motor capable of achieving 650 m³/h air extraction rate and 2 bright 20 watt halogen lamps. Other features of this wall mounted kitchen ventilation hood are push button controls, dishwasher proof 5-layer aluminium grease filter and 2 removable charcoal filters for recirculating air operation.
