
Designers behind Onis dishwasher want make dish washing more environmentally friendly, as well as more economical and practical. Onis consumes minimum of water and does the job with no harmful detergents whatsoever. Instead, the dishwasher will utilize the combination of ultrasound and some type of acidifier, like vinegar. Similar combination is employed in several hi-tech industries.

Washing by ultrasound is extremely energy efficient and fast while degree of cleaning is simply outstanding. De Dietrich designers assume that the washing time will be cut by half. And Onis will operate in closed circuit recycling the water.
