Miele EcoLine dishwashers

The energy-efficient Miele EcoLine dishwashers belong to the new G 5000 series, first launched by Miele in April. The common denominator on these Miele dishwashers is their low energy and water consumption. The EcoLine features a total of 15 different dishwashers - freestanding, built-under, integrated and fully integrated. At 44 dB, they are all exceedingly quiet and are characterised by their sparing use of water and electricity - 10 litres and as little as 0.94 kWh respectively, and are therefore 10% more efficient than required for an 'A' energy efficiency rating. See more on energy ratings. When you connect the G 5000 Miele dishwasher to a hot water supply, energy consumption can be reduced to as little as 0.59 kWh.

The very capable KitchenAid drawer dishwasher was redesigned somewhat to meet the demands of European markets. KitchenAid offers 2 spacious and versatile built-in drawer dishwashers an optional stainless steel door - the KDDS 6010 single drawer and the KDDD 6010 double stack.

DishDrawer Wide by Fisher & Paykel

The latest DishDrawer called appropriately Wide is 90cm or close to 35.5" wide. That should appeal quite a bit to many busy cooks with big families and those who can't live without guests more than a few days. Being just 48cm tall, the DishDrawer Wide still allows 9 place settings and is convenient if you have nice under-bench slot. You may also try installing it as a wall unit. The design can easily accommodate larger pots and up to 32cm diameter plates which you might otherwise wash by hand. Available in EZKleen stainless steel and integrated models in the US. New Zealand and Australian consumers also have a choice of Iridium stainless steel.

With dishwashers steadily losing their luxury tag as more and more of us realise their water, time and energy saving potential, the slimline GV51010 is ideal for smaller households, or those who only have limited space in their kitchen.
