Spiral cellars

spiral-cellars.jpg

The spiral cellars is the quickest and easiest way to build a wine cellar for your house. It was a Frenchman of course, Georges Harnois, who in 1978 recognised that very few modern houses had wine cellars, while quite a few people want to have a sizable wine storage. The Spiral Cellars LTD makes wine cellar as a watertight, precast cylindrical system that’s sunk into the ground. Any room in your house would work. The cellar is completely waterproof. Two-pipe system pushes the warm air out while getting the cool air in. The air isn't getting stale and maintains natural ground temperature between 8 - 15 °C or 46.5 - 59 °F. and the recommended humidity of 70%. The wine is stored horizontally in the bins that lineup the walls of the cellar. The spiral cellar depth ranges from 2 to 3 meters or from 6.6' to 9.8', and the capacity is from 1,000 to 1,600 bottles.
