The new 36" wide induction cooktop from Fisher & Paykel is the frameless, SCHOTT CERAN glass ceramic cooktop with unique touch controls and 5 cooking zones, each with PowerBoost function for an instant intense heat. 38cm hob collection from De Dietrich
The De Dietrich 38cm hob collection is designed to provide ultimate versatility with its range of options. The hobs can be placed side-by-side on the worktop for a contemporary and trend setting alternative to a single hob or situated as standalone products in a kitchen with limited workspace.
38cm induction wok hob, the DTi732X features carefully designed winding inductors beneath the inverted curved zone and is designed to accommodate induction friendly pans and heats up to a powerful 3.0 kW. Stir fries will be ready in seconds as it is the pan that heats, and not the hob, therefore always using the least electricity. This induction wok features touch controls with nine power levels plus direct access to the three most commonly used power levels. To the left of the hob touch controls highlight the choice of zones and to the right of the hob they suggest programmes and power levels. The wok pan comes supplied with the hob.
Modular teppan yaki, the DTE768X provides a healthy cooking option. A traditional Japanese cooking method, the special plate can reach a temperature of 270°C enabling food to be grilled without oil or fat directly onto the teppan yaki surface without it sticking.
The 38cm wide DTi741X is modular continuum induction hob that allows for the first time to cook on an induction hob using a large casserole or fish kettle. By simply pressing the two single independent touch controls simultaneously, the left hand zones become one large cooking area which incorporates myriad inductors and creates the most powerful single zone ever, at 4.6 kW. However, optimum electricity will only ever be conducted, whatever the size or shape of the pan, so the hob remains economical to use at all times.

Induction hob from Electrolux
The 80cm wide EHD80170P is sleek induction hob by Electrolux, featuring 4 induction zones with touch controls and individual zone timers. The extra large induction zone makes it very user-friendly and there is a useful booster setting for fast cooking. The auto heat up brings food to the boil and automatically reduces it to a preselected level for ease of use. Hoover hob - 75cm induction and gas hobs

This one is for the design aficionados - the automatic gas cooktop with a focus on automation and environmental awareness. Designed by Alejandro Sanchez, industrial designer from Bogota, Colombia, it looks to also have one electric element, timer, touch controls and memory function among other things. Made of white ceramic glass, judging by its look.

Gaggenau electric cooktop
The 80 cm wide Gaggenau electric cooktop with stainless steel frame features the illuminated professional control knobs and is therefore ideal for combination with the Vario appliances in the Gaggenau 400 series. It offers the flexible combinable roaster zone made of two SuperQuick 18 cm diameter elements, powerful and versatile three-position cooking zone with a full 27 cm diameter, and a small 15 cm diameter zone. The roaster area is ideal for fast browning and for slow braising of large amounts of vegetables or a goulash as well as for large roasted items like a goose or a turkey. Gaggenau equips this gas cooktop with electric ignition, 3-part cast pan support with continuous pot surface, enamelled burner cover and thermoelectric safety pilot.
