Five-zone induction cooktop with bevelled edge from Fagor

For its 2010 collection of induction hobs, Fagor features this 90cm induction model, iF-900S 90CM with stylish bevelled edge and five cooking zones that feature a range of zone sizes with upgraded serigraphy. It also features a 28cm dual zone on the right hand side of the hob which will accommodate larger pans, yet will only use the optimum energy whatever the size of pan. Each independently controlled zone has 12 precise power levels including a boost control, and all benefit from a useful 99-minute timer.

Foster ceramic glass Vitroline hobs feature high-efficiency high-light halogen plates that are very quick to heat up. The 9 power delivery levels make the hobs extremely versatile to use and provide constant temperatures for delicate cooking operations. Their multiple heating elements with 2 and 3 levels get the most out of the available space and can be used to adapt the zone to the diameter of the saucepan. The vitroline hob above retails for just under € 1,800 and has incredible flexibility with the following outputs per zone,
- right with 2.3 kW
- centre with 2.5 kW, 1.6 kW, 0.8 kW
- left with 2.2 kW, 7.5 kW

Foster Giotto and Rondo round gas hobs

Measuring just 52cm in diameter, Giotto and three-burner Rondo look simpy adorable. The round gas hobs from Foster bring versatility and performance in a rather small size. Both space saving hobs feature cast iron grids, enamelled burner covers, gas taps with safety valves, super-fast thermocouples, electronic under-knob ignition and are available in special Foster satin finish. Rondo which has an auxiliary 1.0 kW, semi-rapid 1.75 kW and rapid 2.9 kW burners also comes in microfoster anti scratch steel. Giotto has powerful, innovative dual 4.5 kW burner with triple crown, ignited independently by a single knob.

Modern induction cooktop from Oranier

Modern 4-zone induction cooktop from Oranier, the KFI 2084 iSL offers interesting layout and plenty of power.
