New Liebherr 36" refrigerator - 2062 Series

The new German made 36" Liebherr refrigerator from the 2062 series is a French-door, Energy Star rated, double-drawer bottom-freezer fridge, and will be available in three exciting designs - freestanding CS 2062 in stainless steel, fully integrated HC 2062 with custom finish, and fully integrated HCS 2062 in stainless steel. Features include exclusive sealed cooling, Soft Touch technology, water and air filtration, an increased capacity automatic ice maker that can produce 3.5 pounds of ice in 24 hours and store up to 7 pounds of cubes, double freezer drawers on telescopic rails with new air flow system, dual refrigeration with variable speed compressors for refrigerator and freezer, unique LED light columns and drawer LED illumination, enhanced vegetable drawer, and 6 mm thick glass shelves, capable of withstanding up to 180 lb. The NoFrost fridge has overall capacity of 19.5 cu. ft. or 557 litres, with 13.5 cu. ft. or 386 litres in refrigerator, and 6 cu. ft. or 171 litres in double-drawer bottom-freezer. Should be available in May 2008. No word on the price yet. Previously, 30" Liebherr refrigerator freezer and 24" Liebherr Vinidors.

Miele cooktop - new Miele induction cooktops

Long famous in Europe for the superb induction cooking, Miele cooktop has arrived into the US with two precision control induction cooktops - a four zone 30" cooktop, KM 5753 and a larger five zone 36" Miele KM 5773 cooktop. These advanced cooktops boast several unique new features, including easy to use timing functions, multiple power boosters, cookware recognition and auto heat programs. Power Boosters reduce cooking times by raising the temperature setting to its maximum for ten minute intervals. Every induction zone has a booster available and these powerful Miele cooktops can operate with 2-3 boosters simultaneously. Miele cooktop performance is so fast that cool tap water instantly begins to heat when the booster function is selected.

Each Miele cooktop includes Sensor Controls to provide precise heat control with a tip of a finger, Stop and Go Function to immediately reduce the power level of all active cooking zones to a simmer so that you can leave the cooktop for a moment, Auto Heat-Up which gives an initial boost to the normal power output to bring the pan up to temperature rapidly, Programmable Functions allowing you to customize Miele induction cooktop timer and power range, audible tones and safety locks, Cookware Recognition which only activates an induction element when a suitable magnetic metal pan is placed on it, Hot Zone Control to recognize when a pan is removed from an active zone to automatically turn the zone off, and Protection Against Overheating which automatically senses if empty cookware is heated, or if grease or oil is heated at a high power level. Other features include Spill-Over Control, Residual Heat Indicators, Timer, Safety Switch Off, Child Safety Lock and Memory Program available only on KM 5773.

Fuji wood hoods

[KBIS 2008 Preview]
Fuji Industrial USA now includes a complete line of wood hoods, available in 19 models. The hoods come in many styles and sizes, complementing Fuji metal liners, blowers and stainless steel range hoods.

The Emperior wood hood is made in wall mounted and island models, and in 30", 36", 42" and 48" sizes. The wood finishes are red oak, maple and cherry. The prices are around $900.

The Texture wall hood is five sided wood range hood which comes in 30" and 36" widths, and is available in cherry, maple and oak. The prices for the Texture wood hood are from $1,025 to $1,175.

Other wood hoods can be also finished in hickory. The fans come in a large range of extraction power with air flows from 260 CFM to 1,320 CFM. Fuji hoods.

Side door opening oven from Fagor

The new 24 inch side door opening oven from Fagor is a convection oven with 8 cooking programs, digital display panel, retractable controls, ventilated steam outlet, child safety lock, cool touch, insulated triple glass oven door, and adjustable, fully extractable tray. Available in right and left hand configuration, the side door opening provides better access to the oven interior. Other features include booster function, capable of reaching 400° F under five minutes, third heating element which surrounds the 2-speed fan, circulating preheated air inside for even heat distribution and faster cooking. Stainless steel finish. Previously, Fagor multifunction built-in single oven.

Both models come with Wolf traditional pan-sensing technology and lock mode for your family safety, as well as the new high power boost and countdown timer features. The 30 inch cooktop comes with four high-efficiency induction elements which heat cookware, not the glass, for a cooler, safer cooking surface, while delivering power and control - two 1,800W with 3,000W boost, and two 1,200W zones. The 36 inch cooktops deliver quite a punch with its five elements - one 3,000W with 4,000W boost, two 1,800W with 3,000W boost and two 1,200W zones.

The black ceramic glass surface of these Wolf cooktops is easy to clean and resistant to scratching, staining, impact and heat. The Wolf oven Series E is the latest and entirely new line of high performance Wolf ovens offering a modern, refined look and adding another valuable option to your design arsenal. The new oven design permits two kinds of installation - a muscular fit with the oven door sticking out for about one inch from the adjacent cabinets, or for a sleek, European style inset installation, completely flushed with the cabinets. Just like a popular L Series Wolf oven, this one offers 10 different, touchpad controlled cooking modes. The ovens come in a 30" single and double oven, with dual convection standard in the single oven and top oven of the double oven, and with framed and unframed door styles. E Series ovens are available in classic stainless steel. Trim kits for Wolf convection and standard microwaves, and stainless steel drawer fronts and handles for the Wolf warming drawer are available to match the look of the E Series oven.

The list of features for a single E Series Wolf oven includes dual convection logic control system, touch control panel with LCD display, cobalt blue porcelain oven interior, three removable racks with full-extension bottom rack and removable six-level rack guide, large viewing double-pane window, dual interior halogen lighting, hidden bake element and recessed broil, temperature probe and receptacle, self-clean, delayed start and Sabbath features. The E Series control panel also comes with three levels of light intensity, three oven timer chime tones, a 12- or 24-hour clock option and five language choices - English, French, Spanish, German and Italian.
