Electrolux is launching a new range of super premium kitchen appliances to be offered with Poggenpohl Goldreif kitchens, positioning Electrolux as the preferred partner of the Poggenpohl Group. The new Electrolux Gourmet Range will be made available as a built-in component of Goldreif kitchens, a brand which is being reintroduced by Poggenpohl this autumn. Tested by professional chefs, the Electrolux Gourmet Range complements the company ultra-luxury Electrolux Grand Cuisine Appliances and the premium Inspiration Range.

Viking Range has teamed up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to auction of a pink Viking D3 range and pink Viking D3 ventilation hood in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 100% of the proceeds goes to the NBCF. Ebay auction runs October 15 to 25.

Six different product ranges in AEG Neue Kollektion have won iF Design Awards in 2011 Household/Living appliance category. They are among the 2,756 entries from 43 countries in this year competition, organized by International Forum Design in Hannover, Germany.

Leading British cooking appliance manufacturer Stoves has unveiled its new built-in collection of ovens and hobs and has moved production from Europe back to its UK Merseyside base. The new portfolio, consisting of 9 single and double ovens and 13 hobs, is available in a choice of black or stainless steel finishes.
The portfolio of new stylish ovens includes 60cm, 70cm and 90cm heights with the same aesthetic applied to both the gas and electric models. The collection consists of fanned and multifunction, with all electric ovens 'A' rated for energy efficiency and all gas appliances fully FSD compliant. Other features include telescopic shelves, programmable timers and halogen flood lights that provide up to 36% more light from 20% less energy.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances reveals refrigeration compressor technology set to revolutionize energy consumption. Developed under a joint development agreement with Whirlpool owned, Brazilian based Embraco, the new compressor offers 2 key advantages,
