Dyson Air Multiplier - bladeless cooling fan

Another innovation by James Dyson, the fan without the rotor aptly called the Dyson Air Multiplier creates a powerful yet gentle cooling air breeze seemingly from thin air. The no blades, no buffeting fan works very differently to your conventional fans. The Dyson Air Multiplier uses Air Multiplier technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times.

Up to 27 litres of air per second is drawn in by an energy-efficient, brushless motor. Technologies very similar to the ones used in turbochargers and jet engines generate powerful airflow. Then, air is accelerated and passes over a 16° airfoil-shaped ramp, which channels its direction. Air behind the Dyson Air Multiplier fan is drawn into the airflow, with a help of an inducement process and is entrained amplifying by 15 times. It also has touch-tilt, 90° oscillation and dimmer-switch power control.
